US Bank Stadium

Professional Sports

Minneapolis-St. Paul is home to five professional sports teams; something only a handful of metro areas in the nation can boast! Plus if you haven’t heard, Major League Soccer is coming to St. Paul in 2018. If you’re still counting, that’s six pro sports teams in our Twin Cities.

The Twin Cities are gearing up to host a number of major sporting events over the next few years. The Ryder Cup, held at Hazeltine National in Chaska, will welcome visitors from all over the world this fall. In 2018 Minneapolis is hosting the Super Bowl at the brand new US Bank Stadium, opening this fall. In 2019 the NCAA Final Four men’s basketball tournament will also be held at US Bank Stadium.
