Stone Arch Bridge

Originally a railroad bridge crossing in the late 19th century, the Stone Arch Bridge serves as a pedestrian and bicycle bridge. Visitors can take in beautiful views of both downtown and Northeast Minneapolis, observe St. Anthony Falls, the St. Anthony Lock and Damn, Mill City Park, and the Mill City Ruins. Each summer the Stone Arch Bridge Festival attracts hundreds of musicians and artists and thousands of visitors. It is the only arched bridge made of stone on the entire length of the Mississippi River.
