After nearly a decade of planning and construction, Mississippi Gateway Regional Park's official grand opening celebration took place on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The event included live music, food trucks, archery, biking and fishing demonstrations, free bicycle rentals, natural history presentations, arts and crafts, and more.
