Wilson Rivera Shows Entrepreneurial Spirit and Success through Multiple Restaurants in the Brooklyns
Past:
Wilson was born and raised in a small little town of Valle de Jesus, EL SALVADOR Central America. Moving to the US when he was 13 years old, he graduated from Osseo Senior Highschool and began working in his dad’s restaurant as a host, cook and server manager.
In 2020 his dad’s best friend Malcolm, his dad and Wilson opened Dos Hermanos in Brooklyn Park, MN. Business thrived and they opened a second location in Mounds View, MN a year later.
Present:
On Saturday, July 6, 2024, Wilson and his team hosted a grand opening celebration at their third location in Brooklyn Center, MN.
Wilson shared, “The thing that makes me happiest while working in the restaurant industry is giving great customer service. Treating people well is how I am driven, but it’s the opportunity to speak to people from all cultures and really getting to know them keeps the job different every day. Providing a complete experience from taking suggestions from guests for custom dishes like our pineapple tacos to spending time behind the bar to create specialty margaritas.”
Future:
At 25 years old Wilson has his eye on opening his own restaurant and continuing company expansion. He aims to retire at 40, still working mentally, but not physically.
