Making Life a Little Sweeter

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a specialty bakery/gift shop just opened in Maple Grove.

Since this week marks NothingBundtCakes' official grand opening,  we have been invited to their Open House today to taste their cakes.  I arrived shortly after 11 am and the event was already hopping.  I was treated to a sampler of beautifully baked and decorated Bundtinis (individual bite-sized Bundt cakes while chatting with Tasha and Bianca; sisters and co-owners of the shop.

There are 9 classic flavors and over 40 designs.  When you order a Bundt, whether it is a 8 or 10 inch Bundt, tiered Bundt, Bundtlets and Bundtlet towers or Bundtinus, it will be custom designed and packaged.

I sampled Red Velvet, Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Lemon and they were all delicious.  Personally, I prefer the Lemon which is not too sweet; not too tart; but just rightly refreshing.  Other flavors include White Chocolate Raspberry, Marble, Carrot, White White Chocolate, Cinnamon Swirl and Pecan Praline.

“All our cakes are made daily onsite and we use butter,” said Bianca.  No wonder their cakes are so creamy!

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a good place for ordering cakes for special occasions such as birthdays, Mother's Day, or baby showers as well as just a little something to satisfy one’s sweet tooth.
