Twin Cities Live: We love it here in Minnesota. And as Minnesotans, we certainly embrace our winter! There’s plenty of fun to be had at the Elm Creek Park Reserve. They make their own snow and they have a tubing hill that is ten stories high. It’s perfect for adventurous folks of all ages. There are different tubing lanes and chutes to make it perfect for people of all skill levels.

Just minute away, there’s another spot for some winter fun. This spot is for a little more low key skating.  It’s the new Maple Grove ice skating trail. It’s LED lit and no need to worry about the warmer weather. The ice is refrigerated. The trail is a big loop that is twenty feet wide and more than eight hundred feet long. Don’t have skates, don’t worry!  You can rent some.

The show also featured OMNI Brewing Co., since no visit to Minneapolis Northwest would be complete without a stop to one of the best breweries around!
