If you’re looking for some family fun this spring, look no further than Minneapolis Northwest.

Minneapolis Northwest is located just outside of the Twin Cities, and encompasses Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove.

There are several family-friendly events coming this spring, including Eggstravaganza at Eastman Nature Center, Twins Cities Spring Babies Festival in Brooklyn Park, and puppet and mask making and an Earth Day clean-up at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park.

More details:

Play games, see live bunnies and get egg-citing treats during Eggstravaganza at Eastman Nature Center. Bring hard-boiled eggs to dye naturally, search for eggs, go on a scavenger hunt and even meet a giant rabbit! Get your face painted with a bunny nose and whiskers, too. Tickets are $5 in advance, $6 day-of.

April 19-20; April 27-28; May 4-5: Twin Cities Spring Babies

Say hello to spring at the Twins Cities Spring Babies Festival in Brooklyn Park! Kids and families are invited to spend an afternoon among some of the cutest baby animals, including goats, ducklings, chicks and bunnies.

3. April 20: Puppet and Mask Making

Create a mask and puppet with natural materials you find outside and craft materials at Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park. Reservations required by April 16. Everyone attending this program must register and pay. Children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Coon Rapids Dam will also be hosting an Earth Day Cleanup on April 27. Spend an afternoon outside helping to keep our earth beautiful from 1-3 p.m. Equipment is provided.
