Minneapolis Northwest, which consists of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, and Maple Grove, provides some special opportunities to celebrate the holiday season. At one of these events, A Norwegian Christmas at Historic Eidem Farm, the whole family can enjoy crafts, ornament making, and a visit from St. Nick. Visitors can also meet the farm animals, take a hayride, and listen to storytelling and caroling around the Victorian farmhouse. The event takes place Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 from 1-4 p.m.
