The event will feature 800 professional and amateur players and 1,200 stadium seats that put you right in the middle of the action. If you think you know racquetball, you’ve never seen it like this!

When you’re done checking out this grand slam event you’ll be inspired to try racquetball for yourself. Don’t stop there! Pickleball is a sport that was created for all ages and skill levels. The beauty of this sport is that you can play at a leisurely pace or you can make it as fast-paced and competitive as you’d like. Pickleball combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping- pong. You can play on indoor or outdoor courts and all you need are a couple of paddles and a plastic ball with holes.

Pickleball has its own following with recreational leagues and professionals, complete with tournaments all around the country. According to the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) there are over 15,000 indoor and outdoor courts in the United States currently. Minneapolis Northwest is home to some of these courts, including dedicated courts at Central Park, and we’d love to point you in the right direction and help you get started!
