Five Reasons to Shop Minneapolis Northwest Farmers Markets

Buying local and organic is becoming increasingly important, and in Minneapolis Northwest we’ve got plenty to offer! It’s easy to shop healthy, but here are five more reasons to shop our amazing farmers markets.

1.) Your fruits and vegetables will be fresh and delicious. This means tastier dishes and impressed dinner guests (Impressing yourself is okay too).

2.) It’s a social event. You can bring friends, family and the dog! So many farmers markets are experiences now, with food trucks and entertainment. Don’t be the only one that misses out on it!

3.) You are supporting local farmers. And with that, the local economy. You’re helping so many people (including yourself)!

4.) You can inspire your loved ones to be healthier. Showing off all of your farmers market finds (and the delicious, healthy meals you prepare), will make your friends and family realize that healthy eating is much simpler than they thought. Plus, it is so fun to go hunting for the perfect addition to your dinner table!

5.) There is so much more than just produce. Farmers markets have evolved. In addition to fruits and vegetables, you can also find a variety of items from honey, eggs, dairy, meats, crafts and many more one-of-a-kind items.
